The approaching of a wedding is a very important thing. It’s a day you and your intended think about and agonize over and it’s something that takes a lot of careful preparation. One of the things that aren’t thought about first and foremost is the diet and nutrition of the happy couple-to-be.
It’s important to look and feel your best on that day. The memories of that day will last a lifetime and you are going to want it to be remembered with you looking your best. The other thing to note is that wedding dresses and tuxes are right before the big day. If weight has been gained it could make it difficult to fit into these very expensive gowns and tuxes.
The first thing you want to do is get more vegetables and water into your diet. You want to replace things high in fat and high in sugar. Soda and fried foods should be out of the question. Just like diamond engagement rings are a staple of an engagement, vegetables and lean meats are the staple of a balanced diet.
So, if you are serious about staying in shape before the wedding, your main focus should be your diet. As you round the day where you are going to say “I do,” you are going to have less time to go to the gym. You are going to be working extra to make up for the time you will miss. You will be spending weekends making last-minute preparations. You won’t have time to exercise. But you can eat better.
You want to limit your calories overall but space them throughout the day. Eating one big meal is a terrible way to keep weight off. If you plan it out right you can keep the weight off and look great for the big day.
